So i going to buy a new lcd.
It will be sony Z4500 but not sure if it will be 40 or 46 inch.

Next i was thinking about a blue ray player, you have to put your lcd to work not? :) After some reading i was thinking about sony BDP-S550 or ps3.

Then i was thinking about the sound, so i also need a new amp and speakers.

This all will be installed in the livingroom.

So should i go for ps3 or the sony blue ray? Or something else?
What amp/receiver and what speakers? It will be used first of all for movies and second for music: hard techno (lot of bass), rock etc.

Budget dunno, i want a nice setup but not overkill (no b&w 800)

If you need more info just shoot.

    Welcome to the forum.
If you could post your budget for player speakers and amp that would be great :smashin: more easy for people to help then.
    All the best.

Well that's the problem. If i can do it for 500 euro's it's but i would also spent 3000 euro's if that's what it take to get a nice setup.

I want to have 'the best' setup i would need for what i use it.

    Katwax.

Hope you got my PM, I've deleted your post in the speaker section.

I know it can be daunting at first and you need to consider your set-up as a whole.

But I think you are best asking here about BR players and deciding on that first, with an eye on the rest of your set-up.. then asking about amps and speakers in the right foums.

Personally unless you want a PS3 for gaming I'd suggest a Sony S350. This will work well with any new amp / reciever and then pretty much any speakers will work with that depending on budget and what you want. :smashin:

    No problem.
I'll do it step by step and post in the different subforums.

No i don't want a ps3 for gaming only to play blue ray.
So you recommend the S350 and not the S550?

Today i went to listen to some speakers and look for the blu ray.
The guy from sony said it was beter to take the 550 if i was gonna go for a good audio system. On other dealer told me to buy the pioneer BDP51.
The tv will no longer be the sony but plasma from pioneer pdp lx5090.

The pioneer or stick with the sony 350?
