    Selling as I've upgraded.

Used for 6 months to game with only. I'm happy to deliver if you cover all the costs involved.

Currently this card is selling on Amazon for £240 not including delivery. Its extra gb of RAM really helps with a 3 monitor setup, and this card benchmarks better than the 670 at 1080p. It even gets close to the 680! This performance is why the price is still quite high online as it SLIs very well.

This card still performs exactly the same as the day it arrived.

    Review and benchmarks

    Amazon Listing

    Price and currency: £190
Delivery: Delivery cost is not included
    Payment method: Bank Transfer only
    Location: Hucknall, Nottingham. UK

As you have just joined the forums and have zero trader rating would you be prepared to send first and have payment on delivery from a member with high proven trader rating?

Is the card complete in original packaging with all as supplied new?

Will the original purchase receipt be supplied?

    Thnaks

It's a big risk to be honest, but i'd be happy going through paypal as your protection? That way you can always issue a claim against the payment and I don't have to risk giving someone the card for free. I do understand you're trusted on here but i've been burned before so i'm not willing to risk it sorry mate! Paypal would work though?

The card comes complete with original packaging and contents. I don't have a receipt as I bought this online, but I will print off a copy of the order and enclose it (and/or email it, whichever is easier for you).

There is NO protection paying through PayPal when it is a private sale.

    Thank you

Who said anything about a private sale? If you want the extra protection then it's available through Paypal, but obviously you'd have to cover their fees. I'm happy to do that if you want as an alternative, and if you did i'd consider a lower offer for the card, or if you can come up with something else, but i'm not going to send you a card for nothing but your word.

I do hope you understand, not trying to be rude or anything it's just from experience.

This would be classed as a private sale!
I think you may be confusing the protection offered through an auction site.

If this helps I recenlty dealt with Sprout no problems very good coms. On this forum it is about trusting the other person and with a trader rating of 305 and 100% think it's worth a go. It's common practice to send half money and the rest when a prerson is brand new at trading.

    Good luck with the sale.

Let's nip this PP argument in the bud. Paypal offers protection whether a transaction is a private sale or a retail/eBay sale. It doesn't offer protection (as far as I know) on PPG payments as these are gifted payments and the member sending has accept the liability before confirming.

However, Paypals protection is about as useful as a chocolate teapot in most cases and is rife for scammers to exploit via charge-backs etc. This is why we encourage members to use BT.

Now with regards the request for Deepfriarg to send first. Deepfriarg, you will be asked this regularly from long term or high FB members as you have no demonstrable history or FB of your own to instil trust. However, you are under no obligation to do so as it is your item and you are well within your rights to refuse.

    Regards

Hi Apsilon, If it helps the 680 Asus DCu link is For Sale - gtx 680 and other items | AVForums

Mod edit: Invalid comparison removed as it is non UK stock.

Edit: I was under the impression Novatech was UK based. The card is also here at Scan in stock for £149 with AVforums Free Delivery perk ;) Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Dual-X Boost OC AMD Graphics Card - 2GB - 11217-01-20G - Scan.co.uk

Adding the BF4 into the factor, both aftermarket cooling and AMD 270x generally have more overclocking potential than Nvidia cards. Of course if I have misinterpreted anywhere i apologise but it does seem very high.

Edit: HAHA Sorry Apsilon, i was thinking your reviewing was over my comment! (Hand over eyes!)

I recently had an EVGA GTX 660ti FTW 3Gb, and believe me, they are a leap ahead of the standard 660ti's.
I don't know about the card in question, but the EVGA was built on a 680 pcb.
I can't find the thread, but i bought it about a year ago from MrAerosmith for £180 inc, boxed and warranted.
I would think somewhere around £150 would be the ticket now, esp as gpu's have dropped in value quite heavily recently.

    Best regards, jamie.

Hi Deepfriarg I am interrested in this, but I want to know a few things first.

    How old is it?
    What is the condition?
Can you provide proof of purchase?
I can come and collect, but I want to see the card working if thats ok?

Also can you provide a lonk to the exact card please.

As for the price, it is high, so that is the lowest you will go to?
    Thank you.
    Dan

The Amazon listing is in my post, and that listing is the exact card. As I mentioned in another reply i'm happy to include a copy of the order (as it was purchased from Ebuyer.com) either via email or physically in the box.

The card is used but there are no marks, visible wear or impact on performance. It's still working as well as it did when I bought it 6 months ago.

There seems to be a lot of faith put in the ratings system here and it can't be without good reason, so I'll say i'm happy to post for a 3rd of the offer and then receive the rest once the card is found to be in good working order? Is this acceptable for you Sprout? I don't want to send it for free, but I can stretch to a third... I just hope that i'm not making a mistake!

I will take as low as £150 + delivery as per other advice offered on this thread.

Thanks for all the input guys! :D

I'm looking at benchmarks but not seeing performance better than a 670..

    Screenshot by Lightshot

The Ti is a good card most definitely, and I was going to get one, but opted not to in the end because of it's lower memory bus (192 Bit vs 256 Bit of current mid-high end gen).

Sprout has a high seller rating and I'd feel comfortable sending first.

PayPal would offer protection over the matter, however, but you'd have to pay as goods and services.

Bumping again, still look for offers in or around £150 + delivery.
