GT60 - sound bar recommendations

Hi folks

We have a 50" GT60 and we're looking for a suitable soundbar to compliment it.

I'd like to control the soundbar with the tv remote for ease.

Do you have any recommendations? Budget could be £3-400.

Cheers Nobby. Is the volume controlled with your Panasonic tv remote?

no, not as yet, although u can program it to work with ur sky remote (if u have sky)
but its a decent unit, if u have just the crappy gt60 speakers then u are in for a treat

I think having a single controller is a deal breaker for me. Don't use a sky box. Could look at universal remote but would prefer a sound bar that didn't require one.

I've got the ysp 4300 connected to a vt30. Just use the ARC Hdmi input on the tv and select 'Home Cinema' in the Vieira link menu and bobs your uncle, tv remote controls volume on the soundbar.

So, I should be able to use any ARC compatible sound bar and get the same result.

Time to do some more reading...
