With Talk of the YouTube upload, Where is that? Soon to be with an update? Thought make thread to let people show some videos.

Made one to start off, High Speed Ring Drift in Mclaren MP4-12C
Not brilliant Quality and audio a bit low as taken with cam.

    YouTube - GT5 Drift - High Speed Ring - MP4-12C

The export function just creates a link to your video in you PS3's Game Data folder (IIRC thats the name of it). With all that talk from PD about 'upload replay straight to You Tube' feature I felt a bit disapointed. Have to use my mobile phone if I want to upload a video.

BTW very nice drifting! I'm rubbish at drifting

A video of an online race on Monza in Pagani Zonda R's. The camera follows me and a race with DeanE, Seb and Chowy. Unfortunately DeanE was collected by someone at the first chicane (not sure who as all cars the same). Seb then went wide into the gravel, and that left me and Chowy. Chowys the one that pits first. It's a close race.

Think this shows how smooth and solid the Online is and should stop people moaning about online. Collision and frame-rate all solid.

    Part One.

Another day off because of snow, so I used it to do what I wanted to do in GT5 for a long time (since I've watched that clip for the first time couple of years ago):

Here is my description from You Tube:

Gran Turismo 5 RUF CTR 'Yellowbird' hotlapping at Nurburgring Nordschleife racetrack.

My personal tribute to this guy:

whoever is he, insane bravery and driving skills! He is MAD!

My lap is nowhere near as his. I just wanted to see how hard can it be and well... the asnswer is simple: VERY!

No aids (TCS off, ASM off, ABS off), sports medium tyres. I used G25 racing wheel, clutch + H-shift manual gears.

Recorded with X10 mobile phone :(

Info about the car: Ruf CTR - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Info about the track: Nürburgring - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Thanks for watching!

Paul how did you put those two clips together so there is the driver's perspective in each clip included? What program did you use?

Correct, Sony Vegas pro 10 :smashin::D

I use it for all my videos, really easy to do stuff like that. All my vids are in 720p too, i tried rendering 1080i but was getting interlacicng lines, 720p looks good enough for youtube anyway. Don't you go nicking my ideas gooner :nono::rotfl:

Gran Turismo 5 Zonda R breaking Nurburgring Nordschleife 's lap record

This is tribute to creators of Pagani Zonda R car, which couple of months ago set a new lap record for production cars around Nurburgring Nordschleife race track with stunning time: 6'47.5s.

You can watch this lap here:

    Some more info:
Pagani Zonda R Nordschleife Lap Record | SACarFan

My video is a replay from Gran Turismo 5 PS3 game. Please watch in HD.

To set my laptime I've used completely stock Zonda R car with Racing Soft tyres. Absolutely no modifications done whatsoever. My laptime: 6'30.044

Same as in real Zonda R car, I've used 740bhp 6.0 L AMG V12, 524 ft·lbf (72.4 kgfm) of torque, 1070kg of weight. All aids off (ASM off, TCS off, ABS off), 6 speed manual sequential gearbox (paddle shift).

Racing wheel used - Logitech G25.

Recorded using X10 mobile phone :(

    Thanks for watching

@Adrian I reckon you could have gone even quicker if you stripped out your interior too :D

EDIT: nice vid. You really need to get yourself a PVR. Can you export the replay file to me? I can record it for you.

LOL I'm just on the market for camcorder. Was just looking at AVF camcorder section, but as I don't know which model I want I couldn't find much general info there. Need to do some proper research tomorrow.

My missus' pregnant and she mentioned something about that PVR would be handy. Her birthday and xmas are soon so I though I'd just buy her camcorder (and use it for my GT5 replays too) :D

Right, well here's a slightly more boring one from me using my Trueno/Levin with 207bhp/tonne. Nice, clean race with no "off-roading" or "bumper cars", and I even tried to stick to the racing line ;).

You can tell from the occasional jerkiness that I'm using the PS3 pad, not a racing wheel (am currently eyeing up the Fanatec GT3 one with clutch/gearstick as well as flappy paddles but simply can't bring myself to spend £150 on what is essentially a hunk of plastic ).

Sorry for the poor PQ in places, I had the Xacti on Full Auto and it keeps hunting for focus every minute or so (must remind myself to get a better camcorder).

The first vid is the "spectator view" and the second the "driver view" (they're one after the other) btw.

YouTube - GT5 Gran Turismo gameplay with Levin/Trueno (Cape Ring).

I hope the rumoured GT5 patch that allows the promised "YouTube upload" arrives soon .

Gran Turismo 5 - Fun in black Ferrari F40 at Nordschleife

Just for fun I took my black F40 to Nurburgring Nordschleife and this is the result. A bit of drifting a bit of fast driving, couple of mis-gears, lot's of fun ;)

Ferrari F40 completely stock, the only thing I changed was colour... and alloys. No aids (TCS off, ASM off, ABS off, skid recovery (whatever it is) off), manual gearbox (H-shift) + clutch, sports hard tyres. Logitech G25 racing wheel used.

    Thanks for watching.

I should have my HD camcorder in few weeks. I will re-record all my replays.
