GT4 - v1.7 - Full Screen

I notice that GT4 now works on the ps3 thanks to the latest firmware upgrate. The only problem is that on my setup it doesn't play at full screen. It seems to take up around 4/5th or so of the screen, even when set as 16:9.

Any ideas?

Pes 6 does this also..I think its more to do with the PS2 emu software than the game..

on a side note ..i never owned a PS2 ..is this game worth buying ? ..how does it play / look on the EMU ?
