Grundig Lenaro TV & Sky HD plus

I have a Grundig Lenaro 32" HDMI TV (3yrs old) linked to a Sky HD plus box by the HDMI cable. When I turn the TV off and then turn on again the link source goes back to Digital TV and will not hold on the HDMI source. The Sky engineer has said this is normal. It did not happen with my standard Sky box!!
Thanks for any feedback on how to save the HDMI input

I presume you were using Scart with your old Sky box, with Scart Control On - that's what made the TV turn on to the Sky input.

You need to see if your TV, via it's options, can be forced to always switch to the HDMI input on turn on.
