    Hello folks!

I am upgrading my current analogue cable box for sky digital.
A few queries though and was wondering if any of you guys could help?
I have a home cinema projector which is connected to my av amp,i thought about getting the grundig as this has s-video out.
does anyone know if this box will give me 5.1 surround? If not which one does?

Only Sky+ will give you 5.1 sound, and even then only with a limited number of movies.

Also take care with the Grundig if you are not buying a brand new one as they changed the spec to include S-Video without changing the model number so some have it some don't.

My GDS310 is just over a year old and has the S-video output. There is a note in the handbook: 'Fitted to GDS200/2, GDS210/2, GDS300/2, GDS310/2 only.'

    Hope this helps,
    Matt.
