I love this film, but i can never seem to justify the cost for a film like this in 4k. Maybe when prices come down i will give it a punt.

If you are patient, this should be in the 9.99 deal @ HMV. Otherwise you can try eBay. Have seen nearly a dozen end at around £12-£13 including postage. Never pay RRP as it is a rip-off.

yes just need to be on the look out for it, i haven't really tried any old films either which are now available in 4k, is it really worth it?

I was wondering the same thing... have people really been lining up for a 4K Atmos release of Groundhog Day?

I tend to be pretty content watching films like this in SD to be honest.

      I know, wrong forum, right?

I like more pixels as much as the rest of us, and there's rarely a case that more pixels is not, in fact better, but a film like this?

I watched Uncle Buck recently on DVD (okay, so maybe not quite SD) and at no point was I left thinking I would enjoy it more if only for a higher definition - I'd put this in the same category.

A perfectly realised & executed movie. Endlessly re-watchable too.

Yeah this will be in HMV's deals for sure at some point. Absolutely buying this, but not at full price.

To be fair £19.99 is not a bad price,i have quite a few blu rays going back to the start,of blu ray, most were priced at £24.99 & £19.99.
