Just been playing this for a bit, nice little game although not really my bag TBH. Nice graphics very like crash bandicoot in style etc. OK gameplay and crap music ( sorry but all R&B is awfull ).

Don't think i'll be playing it long though as the urge to play Burnout will get the better of me.

Also got Winning Eleven 9 which ain't working at the mo, it also needs f/w 2.0.

I really dislike the way Sony are forcing you to upgrade your firmware for certain games. It's your PSP. You should be able to play every official game, and keep whatever firmware you want.

That messes up your UMD movies though, or so we've heard. Guy here is now unable to play most UK movies on his JAP PSP.

You have to see Sony's view though. Its not homebrew they're bothered about, its illegal copies of PSP games

If it was just homebrew apps, Sony would be happy. Its free advertising for them

It works both ways. Do you seriously expect Sony to think, "we won't force 2.0 on you, as long as you promise you won't illegally download PSP game ISO's"

Although any official PSP game working on any firmware ver is a nice idea, it won't happen due to above points ^^^

I have a US PSP, just tested the UMD movies I have (Spiderman2 & Hellboy), both work fine and I'm currently tricked to v1.52. Can't comment on Jap PSP as I don't have one of those anymore.

    Hope that helps.

    It's a moot point anyways as I'm running 2.0.

Tetlee, actually, I wonder if you'd be able to do me a favour. Could you give me a loan of Hellboy as I want to see if R1 UMDs will work on a JAP PSP. I've heard numerous site say that it does. I will send you 1.50 PayPal to cover postage on your end.

No offence intended Chrislad but I'd rather not, I have a couple claims open with Royal Mail at the moment for items that have gone missing  , I don't post things unless I need to these days.

No worries, mate. I'll just order one cheap from Movietyme, and sell it on here if it doesn't work.
