The RED image on my barcographics 808 was slightly to the left of the crt face. I went into guided installation mode to reposition it, but immediately after resetting the rasters to the correct position i lost the green tube output ! Now as i have no output from the green crt i also have no prompts to inform me of any problem .
I'm hoping there is a reset switch for the green tube.
    Any advice would be appreciated.Thanks.

Very quick cos I'm late to go out.
    Check these.
With the power off check that the board on the end of the tube is pushed on enough.
Just above (below if ceiling) the tube is a board for each tube attached with two flat headed screws check the two multi pin connector wires are connected.
Try swapping two of these boards over to see if the problem moves colour.

Thank you Roland for your suggestions. I checked the connections you suggested and, whilst loose, it was not the problem. However your other suggestion, swapping the boards over, did in fact prove it to be a faulty board. Is there a pot on the board that needs adjusting ?
Once again Roland thank you for your help.

No you will blow the tube.

The failure of this board is quite common. It is a known weakness on the BD/BG808 and BD808s.

Is the suround black or sliver?

Send me an email [email protected] I'll let you know how much an exchange is.
