Green screen problems!

    I`ve purchased a rgb to vga cable for my plasma tv.I`ve set my dvd player to rgb,but all i get is a green screen.What am I doing wrong???

    UPDATE-I`m trying to connect the following-DVD Player(with composite output)/DVD recorder(same output)SKY Plus/PS2/X Box-these are the connections I have on my new plasma.Please could someone tell me the best way to connect em all!?!

    Definitely make the most of all RGB/componant inputs that you can, esp from sources list DVD, DVD-R and Sky+ (if available).

    After these basics are hooked up, determine which of the others you'd like to extract a better picture from (XBox or PS2) and hook them up. Hey, if you've got enough points, then hook em all up with RGB, why not!

    Avoid composite if you can as it really does bleed colours.
