    Hi there!

I have had a KV-24LS35 for a few years now. Probably due to relegate it to second tv duty or give it to my folks sometime soon but thought I would ask about this none the less.

When watching particularly dark scenes on DVD, there is a noticable green and red tracing on fast moving objects on screen. This is not visible at all whilst watching other sources or in bright DVD scenes. My DVD player is a Pioneer 565A and it is not to blame as my previous player did the same! Also the connection is good using a QED 50cm Squart and this happens regardless of whether the signal is Video, S-Video or RGB. Also noticeable is when the DVD player is on it's screen saver (black screen with moving Pioneer logo) the black has a green tinge compared to the black borders if on 4:3 mode.

Any ideas? Is there something in the service menu that I could tweak myself?

    Thanks,

    Matt

I could be wrong but it sounds like interference from maybe your centre speaker.
Is it too close to the screen or is something else unshielded nearby.
