As an AV virgin can anyone help me?
I have a Panasonic TX-28PL10 which is now a few years old.
Occasionally the picture will just fade out to either a completely red screen or more recently a completely green screen. It is a gradual process but eventually leaves the screen as a negative type image in a predominantly green transparent colour.
It normally occurs after the TV has been on sometime and is normally ok again when left turned off for some considerable time - overnight!

    :lease:

Hello Bigtop and welcome to the Forum. :)

You clearly have a poor connection/dry joint somewhere, possibly on the tube base.

Any competent technician should be able to locate this fairly easily with a can of freezer.

I wouldn't suggest you try this yourself, as I'd hate this to be your only post!

    Thanks for that :D
I thought I may have been looking at a new telly so will be looking for a reputable 'man that can'.
