green lines on phillips 32w/s

    I now have about 10 rows of thin green lines , about 1 ibnch intervals coming down the screen. Most noticeable when the picture is dark or switching to dvd. Did a search for this but there didn't seem to be a defined answer.

    sounds to me like flyback lines, this will need to be repaired.

    thanks for that, but what are flyback lines .

    They are the "flying spot" which make up the picture returning for the next scan and you shouldn't see them.

    Sounds like your green gun needs checking...
