What does the green light on the back on the sub supplied with the Enerygy Take 5+1 mean? It's labelled "Active". Does this just mean power or does it light up when a signal is received.

My light has just gone out and I'm not getting any noise out of it anymore (apart from a faint hum). :(

I have the S8.2 Sub (for Take 5.2 system) and I presume the green light functions just as the blue light does on mine. It lights up when the Sub is active only. When there is no LF information going to the Sub it goes in to Standby and the light goes out. However as soon as a signal is received, it should light up again.

Hmmm. Well it was on for a few hours and then suddenly gave up. I turned it off for 30 mins, tried it again and it sprang back into life. I don't get it.

    Any thoughts?

    Nope - it's died again after 3 hours. :(
