green bar on tv when watching dvd

    my scht900 is connected by componant to my tosh 32zd26p, when watching some dvds, eg lord of the rings 2, there is a faint green bar about 1 inch thick and all the wy across the screen, this moves slowly up and down the tv... ive tried messing with the tv setup as in 100hz and progressive scan to no avail.... havnt tried to connect with the scart yet, has anyone had a problem like this before??

    Need more info.
    Have you got any other sources connected?
    Are these ok?
    Try to connect using rgb scart.
    Have you got any wireless devices near either your TV or DVD player?

    I realise this is an old thread, but you have had exactly the same problem I am experiencing with the DVD playing (thru component). We have different plasma screens (I have 42pw6)so maybe it does point more towards the player.

    Anyone know what causes it ? Is it pick-up ?

    I tried asking people on the plasma forum a while ago, but didnt get much joy
