Great panels with rubbish processing

    I have a scaler and will eventually get a flat panel display which I would plumb into my setup using the vga input.

    Are there any panels that are good but suffer from their onboard video processing? I'm looking for a bargain and am not fussy about anything other than the picture quality. Sound is not an issue either.

    If it makes any difference the scaler is an I-scan HD. The DVI output will remain on projector duty.

    They all suffer from their on-board video processing!!! If you are running analogue then you don't want a panel that's gonna have a cheap a-d converter on the input side of things. I'd go with Panasonic or Pioneer MXE1 or NEC.
