Hello all.

I remember days gone by when you could hang out on the IMDB forum (RIP) of a film you loved and pick up many further options for things you've missed, from like minded folk. Ever since the demise of those forums, i've struggled to keep up. I'm looking for recommendations for some foreign language (non UK) greats. 'Parasite' recently brought back how awesome Korean cinema can be.

For example, things i've enjoyed in the past:

1) Oldboy (original)
2) Ichi The Killer
3) I saw the Devil
4) Gozu
5) Man Bites Dog
6) La Haine

...as a small taster. Any other suggestions?

All great but you may need a strong stomach on some of them.

The Golden Glove

The Cremator

Mother Joan of the Angels

Survive Style 5

Attack the Gas Station

Angst

Jigoku

The Painted Bird

A Serbian Film

Save the Green Planet

The Untold Story

The Secret In Their Eyes is a terrific Argentinian thriller that I can't recommend enough - superb cinema. I've no interest in, and haven't seen the Hollywood remake with Julia Roberts.
