Hi all,
I have an onboard graphics system "VIA Tech VT8361/VT8601" feeding a BlackBox KVM switch and its giving me trouble. The horizontal image is overlayed a number of times over the screen. A previously connected S3 card works a treat.
Its not to do with the drivers as the problem occurs even at VGA in the BIOS! Some ports on the KVM are fine, others not. Swapped for another unit and still troublesome. Cables replaced too.
Im suspecting these on-board adaptors are requiring DDC but nothing in the BIOS allows me to switch this on/off etc. Plugging straight to a monitor works a treat. The other idea is that the hsync voltage is low and just on the threshold.
HEELLLLLPPPP!
Cheers
