Hello.

I'm currently trying to play Train Sim 2020 on my computer but when I try to load it the screen cycles a few times before reverting to another input and the one my computer is connected to goes blank. If I press control / alt /delete the screen then comes back.

I'm managing to load and play other games fine but it just won't load TS2020.

Its on my steam account and my computers running a Gigabyte Radeon RX 590 and AMD Ryzen 5 2600. I played TS on my old PC which wasn't as powerful as this one so guessing its not a hardware issue. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game on steam but it still does the same thing??

Any clues?

Many thanks
Mark

It could be trying to use a resolution/refresh rate not supported by your display.

What about trying ALT-ENTER to go to windowed mode when it goes blank, that should get you to the game's graphics settings to select an appropriate resolution/refresh rate.

Mine keeps doing this since switching to a Freesync monitor. Fixed by using Nvidia control panel to add a 99 max refresh rate (100hz monitor).
