I remember seeing reviews for a metal weight that was designed to sit on top of your speakers and tighten bass etc...

They seemed to be very expensive, can anyone point me to a website or a review of these things ??

I am planing on selling polished granite slabs to sit on top of your speakers, made to measure..if anyones interested...

PM me if you are interested...

    cheers

I have heard from people who have head good results placing bags of sand on their speakers. Sand has good internal damping, just as granite. It might work, but try it with sand first: it's cheaper!

thanks for the reply garmtz, i think a nicely polished granite slab would look 100 times better on top of my speakers than a bag of sand !

Unless of course i put the sand in a silk or satin bag !

    cheers...

Flimber, the best bet for you would be to get any sort of slab from the garden center..would be cheaper.

But if you have money to burn, an estimated cost for a slab of granite with all sides and top polished with your dimentions would be about £60 then i would have to figure out how to get it to you !

I am planing on getting a couple of samples made up and will post pics of them asap.

    cheers

    Guys

Keep the business dealings in the PM´s. You´re likely to incur the wrath of Spectre if you don´t!

He might delete this thread as technically your plugging your wares, sorry Jonny.

Hahaha! :) I didn't say that I tried that! Even if I could, I would never spoil the looks of my ML speakers by placing ugly sand bags on top of them... Even I have my limits... BTW, I am not married... ;)

I know a few girls with loose bottom ends so I will try putting bags of sand on them to see if it tightens them up.
