Question GrandView Cyber Fixed Screen - Second hand price

Hello all,

At present we project movies and TV shows onto the wall which is fine, but I am concerned perhaps we are not getting the best picture out of our Sony PJ.

I am looking into getting a good condition second hand (preferred) or perhap a new Grandview Cyber fixed screen for our home cinema room.

I do have a couple of questions, I have been struggling to get the price for a good second hand screen - we currently project an approx 120 inch image so looking for a 120" screen ideally. But unfortunately it seems these screens don't come up often so trying to get an idea of price is proving difficult.

Secondly, are the screen fabric textured in any way? Or are they just rather smooth?

How difficult are they to install on a wall, would you need a specialist to come and install it?

Thanks for your help all! :)

You could have a look at the Sapphire screen range in Richer Sounds, as both are manufactured in the same factory in China by all accounts. The current price of a 121" Sapphire is £480.

The screen material is smooth and other than possibly finding it tricky to stretch the material onto the frame when first assembling they are easy enough to wall mount.

Projectorpoint.co.uk have that same screen for £421. I bought 106", same model, a couple of weeks ago from them. I'm really happy with it; sharp clean image, and colours look great and natural. Good quality frame, too
