Recently bought myself a PS2 on a quite expensive impulse buy, with Grand Theft Auto 3.

What a great game... I just had to mention how fantastic it really is. Live out any homicidal and illegal fantasy (barring the use of animals) you've ever had.

You can even cruise the red light district and pick up, er... working girls. Drive off to a secluded spot and watch the car start rocking. Then beat your money back. What a sick, insane laugh...

Got to agree. This title is keeping me away from my site, this site and other work!

Nothing quite like nabbing the Diablo Mobs cars and driving them off the pier...

Easily one of the best games I've ever played..... There's nothing like ram-raiding an internet cafe and letting loose with an AK-47!

Anyone got 6 stars up? I can only manage 5 no matter what I do!

I've managed six stars. If you can survive the FBI's attacks and kill a few more people along the way, six stars arrive and you soon end up being run over by a tank.

Pro Evo Soccer takes away far too much of my life at the minute. I end up playing it for about 4 hours a day if there's nothing on TV in the evenings, and it never gets boring or repetetive. Fantastic game, FIFA is the scrapings on my shoe compared to it.

I've tried to get into PES, but it's mince...

Playing this only cut into my GTA3 game time.
    Now we can't have that :D :D

I can only concur with what everyone else has said about GTA3.What a fantastic game!
I just can't get enough of rampaging through Liberty whilst listening to 80's rock on Flashback FM.
"I used to play the trumpet a lot back then if you know what I mean" :D :D :D

Oh and a very quick way to get six stars.......unleash the flamethrower on the cops and watch them sizzle. Then use the rocket launcher to take out the helicopters :D :D

Now that you've all been playing it a few months how far have you got.

I'm in front with 70%, with 96 packages. I'm on the last career mission, but lacking in the rampages (done 6 of 20) and the 4x4 missions (done none).

Other guys here are at 4% (!), 50% and 60%.

it is one of the most addictive games we've all played in a lot of years.

Has anybody actually tried to use the web address adverstised in the game. they are so funny.

    www.sleepofflard.com
    www.pogothemonkey.com etc

there is even a www.flashbackradio.com although doesn't seem to be associated with GTA3
