Gran Turismo 5 working in 3D ?

So I was dead pleased to get my copy of GT5 in the post this morning. game update downloaded and we're up and running, but I can't seem to get the game into 3D mode !!! ps3 detects my Samsung C680 and 1080p3d and I have happily been playing COD but GT5 is just playing 2D mode and I can see no option to enable 3D :-(

Packaging clearly states 3D on the front.

Am I just missing a setting somewhere ? Has anyone else got this working yet ?

you have to go through the menus etc.

Getting my copy tomorrow, can't wait....
