Does anyone know exactly what Grade A TVs are? All I know is that they only come with a 3 month guarantee and that they are a lot cheaper than normal e.g. 36" widescreen for under a grand.

    Thanks,

    Matt.

They are usually TVs that have been sold, and then returned and replaced under warranty, are now supposedly fixed and are being sold again.

If you're lucky - the fact that they've been attended to by a "human" will mean that they're better than new factory output.

If you're unlucky, the problem experienced by the first owner will be "within tolerance" and hasn't been fixed - or has been fixed, but not properly, only to recur 3 months and 1 day after you buy it.

Buy with care. Ensure your retailer has an enlightened "refund if not entirely happy" policy.
