GPU recommendations

Novice Member
Hi guys, looking for some graphics card recommendations as it's about time for an upgrade, system specs:

Gigabyte GA-870A-USB3
AMD PHENOM II X4 965 BLACK ED @ stock 3.6Ghz (will OC to 4Ghz in future)
Kingston HyperX Blu 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz
Corsair TX 750W PSU
Current GPU is a HIS RADEON HD5770
Monitor is 1680 x 1050

Looking for something in the £150-£175 (£200max) range that'll run Battlefield 3 MP and latest games at highest settings or there abouts, with solid FPS of course. Not bothered about brands etc. Just the best I can get for my system and price range. Cheers.

GTX 560ti would be nice, they are going for £165ish at the moment, that would be the most powerful card you could get in budget. If you wanted to spend less you could go for a 6870 at around £130. You would probably be pleased with the results of either of them

+1 for the GTX560Ti. The 1GB version can be had for £154.99 inc delivery from which is as far as I can see the best current price. Will be absolutely fine at your resolution. If you do plan on getting a full HD 1920x1080 screen then I would consider a 2GB Radeon HD6950, new they are around £210. The extra VRAM will come in help at the higher resolution.

Thanks guys. 560 sounds good but did some researching and apparently it has issues with BF3 so a bit weary about that.
