Right im now getting sick of my crossfire setup, waiting for profiles is taking the piss with AMD. used to be pretty efficient and have the crossfire patch out say a week or two after a title release now its taking a month or so... usually when ive got bored of said game release WITCHER COUGH COUGH

so ive been looking at a few cards.

The future proof - spend a little more to get a better card. (4k/1440p monitor upgrade in the future)

980ti's
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprod ... ubcat=1402 - EVGA Superclocked "reference design" 980ti - I dunno why but i really like the reference design over the other branded 2/3fan cooling.

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprod ... ubcat=1402 - Gigabyte windforce edition - always went for the windforce branded cards.

https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showprod ... ubcat=1402 - 8Pac HaF edition

OR

since i dunno how long its going to take to get a 1440p/4k monitor do i just go for a lower spec card 980 and save a £100~ ?

also im still pretty fresh when it comes to gpu's of the same model the 980s i linked, which one is best etc and is there really a difference? i read that there is less than 10% between every card across the same board?

Thanks

Personally I'd be going for the best I can afford now rather than what may happen in the future. Any of those cards would be fine, although I do prefer EVGA just for their superior warranty and rma support.

Still undecided on which 980ti to go for, after reading a bit more into it the asus strix seems like the best one currently,

but as always with pc's do i spend a bit more bug, is the do i wait a bit longer for a new release (K|ngp|n) 980ti !!!

i think ill be waiting a while for that to be available so i might fold and pick a card this month since its my bday and all soon :D

You do realize thats its one tiny sticker on the side your not going to see....

My case is ontop of my desk with a windowed panel, can see everything inside. and i also intend to overclock it i just thought id make a bit of banter over it...
