Earlier this month, Virgin sneaked out their GPRS service. I only noticed because a Virgin store had a window poster for a T610 and I thought "hmm, camera phone, maybe GPRS is now available". Sure enough, the answer is "yes". If you want the relevant settings to be downloaded to your phone, follow this link:here. It's not cheap, they charge something like 0.5p per Kb so 1 Meg would work out at £5.12 which seems rather expensive. What I would really like to do is access the net via my Ipaq, using my Nokia 6310i as a GPRS modem, however Virgin only seem to be interested in WAP over GPRS at the moment. If anybody knows how to get a Pocket PC online using GPRS and Bluetooth, please enlighten me. I already have it working with another SIM card (by Orange), but so far Virgin is a no go.
