Anyone got hold of one of these ? Quite like the idea of portable emulator gaming !
How about PSP homebrew
But the GPX2 is just so cool, I always loved the joystick on the Gamepark, the best controller on any handheld IMO. Not only that but at times being able to use AA batteries is so damn handy, I used to use normal rechargable batteries with my GP32 Blu and they lasted ages. If you're not bothered about offical first/third party games, I'd grab one, I'm pretty sure you won't regret it.
Give us your impression if you decide to get one, I'd have been so tempted if I didn't have too many consoles & handhelds already
yeah i'd love to hear what you think if you get one. I have a GP32, and been looking at these for a while
This looks a great bit of kit.
I am hoping to get one in the next few weeks, I will post a review when I do.
let us know how good the megadrive/snes emulation is...
Make sure you do, I'd be interested in yourthoughts.
I just got one of these and megadrive emulation is excellent, its almost 100% evey game ive tried played excellent.
Its a great little unit and development is moving fast for it, someone has made a pretty good amiga emulator with mouse and keyboard support and each day it seems that new updates are coming out all the time for the unit.
A good source of info is on the wiki page -
Excellent, thanks for the info.
How much do these normally go for?
£119.95 for the basic unit from allack http://gp2x.allack.co.uk/
this looks really cool!
i loved the emus on my pda but the button layouts made it not so fun, but this may be the answer!
That's pretty good value, would go for one although the DS lite is priority number 1 right now!
Yeah, it's a bad time for wallets right about now, so much to spend on in the world of gaming. My girlfriend thinks I'm a nutcase for keep getting the credit card out on more gaming stuff
Think I'll pick up a ds lite to, so I have the best in emulation and commercial
