A big disappointment for us GoW regulars that have been hoping some new DLC could be in the works for our favourite online game....

Damn, and there was me with this sneaky suspition we might hear an announcement of new maps in the near future in order to pull the drifters back into Gears, sad news indeed:(

W*****S, how hard can it be to port the PC maps over to the 360? Those three maps would make alot of us happy, but then again Epic don't care about happy players now they have our cash, come on they can't even be bothered to fix the achievement problems so it looks like its a case of put up and shut up:mad:

Ahhhh I feel so much better now:D

I didn't expect any totally new maps (although I hoped) but I did expect the PC maps and maybe the SP content. :(

I'd heard before that they wouldn't bring the PC maps over to the 360, but I had kind of hoped for something for us. Wouldn't have taken much to keep us happy either! A smoke tagging achievement anybody? ;)

Shame, It'd only take a port of the PC maps to rekindle interest in GoW. Ah well, it's easier to find each other in ranked these days. :smashin:

I seemed as though your interest has already Karl:confused: Certainly seemed that way when you kept ploughing us down with the hammer of dawn the other night;)

On a lighter note than this disheartening news, has everyone seen the new GoW figures? Not one to collect this type of thing but they do look pretty damn cool IMO:cool:

Doubt I'll ever get around to getting any though, gf would probably get a bit concerned if action figures strarted dropping through the post box:rolleyes::D Damn this GoW addiction!

If this news is right then its ridiculous:mad:.
I must admit I don't know anyone with gears on the pc so I don't know how good these pc maps are. Nevertheless, like many here I would buy them tomorrow. I'd also like to buy those GOW figures. Especially the locust one.
    I'm sad aren't I?

They are pretty cool. The Fenix one is probably the worst likeness though.

noobs action figures get a life :hiya:
on topic im not to bothered to be honest i mean new maps bit of single player quality it would make me go through the game again so a tad dissapointed but the more time they take porting it to the 360 they could e making gears of war 2.
the gears of war 2 rumours are starting to gather pace im hoping there will be an anouncement soon then we will see what the daddy of all fps is halo3 i think not all you traitors will be back with your tail between your legs soon enough:cool:

That is sad news although not entirely unexpected...
TBH, I've started to play the odd game again and have really enjoyed it- not because of the dodgy game mechanics, or the host advantage, or the fact the chainsaw can suck you in from a 1k miles but cos it really is THE most sociable game out there- your almost guaranteed to have some ridiculous and hilarious convos with some of you mentalists:rotfl:

Could this perhaps be anything to do with the problems Epic had with the original DLC that they wanted to be made available for free but MS insisted on charging for its first few months I wonder.

Let's hope so Simon. Although GoW is a TPS mate, not a FPS :lesson:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We've been prattling on about this for ages Shuzz but your Top Gun Master Paul insists H3 can be as social - I think not :)

I really hope GoW2 is out this year :lease:
