Perhaps it should be a legal requirement that starting from the age of 18, and from then on, every 10 years, every member of the public has to have a naked photo of themselves posted onto a public database which everyone has access to.
Once that's done, won't be any more secrets ;)
The way the world works means that all the "nice ones" would be kept for an elite group (for educational purposes). That same elite group would have their own pictures touched up or use body doubles.

There will be loads of pics of body models or Bay watch actors.

I still favour the public accessible list of who is after the naughty stuff in your area. Flashing light outside the house or something. Slowly rotting beacon for just browsing and quickly rotating for the er, well, work it out.

Gotta love Safari spell check.
Even better the brain sees a word and says, yeah, legit.

It is bizarre, and everyone should agree, just how screwed up mentally the current human race is with the sight of the human body, together with the act of reproduction.
God knows ;) how we got to be this way.
I don't see any other animals, or which we are just one, looking away, because one of them is naked, or having some intimate involvement.
From a external perspective this must all seem totally weird.

Here in Brighton we have the annual Naked Bike Ride (to raise awareness of cyclists' vulnerability on the road) and it still causes consternation and disbelief even though it's been taking place for years.

As kids, we run around naked and nobody thinks anything of it. It's adults who provide the messages of fear and shame, yet we are bombarded with images of sexual attractiveness and desire every day.

Talk about mixed messages.

David Attenborough has multiple logins?

Re Bike ride. And so it should cause consternation, just think of all the saddle sniffers trying to hold back. Cruelty....

Not read the whole thread, but if you've got £5 per month you can completely circumvent this. Just get a VPN provider and you can make it appear as if you are anywhere in the world. Just select a server in Germany, and ...BOOM... you have bypassed the UK age verification requirement.

This is what happens when you elect Fascist to government positions. This isn't about protecting children, this is about them monitoring and controlling your lives. And if it happens, it happens because you allowed it to happen.

Take a bow Britain, you are the masters of your own doom.

But then .... that's just my opinion.

How many people will go down the VPN route? Might be an issue in todays world where there is a greater share in relationships.

this is about them monitoring and controlling your lives.
All the feds have to do is follow you on book face.

So was this a very elaborate April fool?

You're missing the point, the government is trying to change the view that women, teenage and younger girls are viewed as sex objects especially amongst, boys, teenagers and tbh some men.

Will it work, nope.

Problem is no one is doing anything. When the conversations are not had that if you get as far as "NO!" you have gone too far let alone no means no.

Such a weird place we are in re porn, esp when 99.9% of people have watched it.
And probably young teens, growing up in the connected world, who are just starting to get sexually interested, which is 100% totally normal, and how all life on this planet should be, are probably near the 99.999% of them have at some point watched some form of what we call porn.
Young children, who we don't feel should view such content for current social reasons, should of course be protected by parents, though as we know there is no licence or test you need to take to become a parent unfortunately.

EXCUSE ME?... The porn I'm interested in has absolutely NOTHING to do with any "act of reproduction". I thank you to keep your perverted assertions to yourself, thank you very much! :D

I'd rather not enter your Rabbit Hole, only to remark that it's the hard wiring of the need to reproduce in your brain, and I'd guess every living creature, that makes you interested in watching what we refer to as porn in the 1st place.
It HAS to be hardwired in, as something we need to be interested in, to ensure the survival or our species.

In other words they aren't organised enough to hold a cocktail party in an off license.

I feel we're missing the larger question here.

How much porn can I theoretically download between now and the implementation of this new system :)
