    Hi All,

I have had my Pio 433MXE delivered today and I love it but I do have a small problem.

I am only presently able to use it via the s-vid but I can only get black and white pictures!? can anyone point me in the direction of a possible fix?

The plasma is absolutely fantastic and I would like to thank everyone here for pointing me in the direction of this display.

If only it was in colour though ;-(

Is this from DVD's? If so, does your DVD player output S-Video? Are you using Scart to S-Video? Have you got your DVD player set to S-Video in the connection setup menu?

    Thanks Groundy,

I am using my pc/dvd decoder card and I have it outputting the same as I used to when I was viewing on my rear proj TV. I had no probs then but I can't seem to get any colour through the s channel on input 3 on the plasma.

I will have to have more of a look tomorrow. Has anyone else had this prob?

    Hi Lenny,

I had my MXE delivered on friday ass well.

Unfortuantatly, its still in the box, as I need to finish rearrange the front room first.

But hopefully you will get your picture sorted out soon.

    I found the problem.

It was a bent pin in my S-video lead. Damn those things are awkward to fit when you are scrabbling around at the back of the amp!

Thanks for all the people that posted. I am now sorted.

Wow what a fantastic picture this set has. I can't imagine what it would be like through the VGA or components. Even s-video is amazing on dvd playback.
