After looking at my options and spending the last few weeks looking at LCD screens, I decided to buy the DM TECH 26" widescreen set with a built in DVD player. Seen here -

    http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/455_218030.html

I had been to lots of different retailers in Bristol with my x-box and was beginning to think that I was not going to find a nice LCD for my bedroom and the x-box. However, I stumbled upon this set in a Comet of all places so I took my x-box along and set it up. I was highly impressed by the set, the speed of Pro Evo 4 and the overall PQ, from the right viewing distance.

So, I bought one. This is after demoing Pro evo 4 on several brands of LCD, from Thomson, Sony, Panasonic, Logix, JVC and LG all of which seemed sllllllllloooooooowwwwwwwww compared to the DM~Tech.

As always the decision has to made by your eyes when purchasing goods and I like the picture. The built in DVD is a great bonus, though I am yet to locate a multi region hack. Here are a couple of pics that do not do the set justice as I am not that great on the old digi camera. :suicide:

    Cheers,

    Pete.

You may well have sorted this by now - but if not, have you tried HERE one, as it worked on my DMTECH, and that is a different model, to the one quoted.
