Many many thanks to the Forum for 2 money saving reasons.

We finally got our Panasonic Viera delivered from JL along with the E85 DVD Recorder.
Secondly, and again after reports on the Forum, we have ordered our Canton CD1 speakers and they should be arriving next week.

We now need to buy an Amp. Seeing as most of our 'equipment' is Panasonic, will it be better to go for a Panasonic SAXR-50 Amp ?

The Canton speakers are 5.1 and the above Amp is a 6.1 i believe. Will this cause us any problems at all?

Will this be a great combination and has anyone else got the same setup?

Many thanks agian for all the help, mucho appreciated.

    i have the same,Viera 42" with the E85,

speakers i went with the Celestion 305,

the amp is the Yamaha 750SE,still playing around and letting it run in with the speakers,(only had them 2 days)
iam very pleased with the sound so far,it has a stereo 7ch when playing music,so it plays out all the speakers,
i was tempted to go for pany SAXR50 or the 70,but then went for the YAM 750SE,it has many speaker set ups and sounds,
    5.1 7.1
    2 sets of fronts A + B

    and

one problem with the yam 750 it is a big beast, about 7 inches high, but i have managed to fit it in by only using one shelf,
i do have NTL box,DAB tuner,E85, and the AMP in the cab under the screen,
