Got Around 1.5K To Spend On a LCD, Which To Go For?

AVF TT Runner Up 06
Hi all,

I'm looking for a 1080p LCD 46''+ That must be able to do 1080p via VGA/HDMI. I've been looking at the new sammys but after reading peoples opinions on it i'm not so sure anymore. Can anyone reccomend a good t.v?

Thanks :)

The new Sony KDL-52W4000 ticks all boxes and its an excellent tv.(Brand new model). The only thing for full confirmation is the 1080p over VGA

Had a quick scan over it and it seems like a really good t.v at a good price, just need to know if it does 1080p over VGA

I am also considering this model from sony, but in the 46" carnation.

Is there any decent reviews on it yet?

And also for about the same money what other alternatives are there?

Also i had a search on google, and really couldn't find that much information on the 46" model. Any links?
