Got 2-2.5k to blow on a plasma/lcd - prefer 37" - what do you recommend

    new PW7 Panny due later this month if you are after a panel only... Of for a TV Sharp 37HV4E LCD a tad over budget, a 42" is not much bigger honestly its 3" taller and 4" wider thats it!!!!! a 42 PW6 panny £2k+ a bit or for £3k Pio 434HDE...

    What about the new LG 37" LCD.

    QED have it up for £2167.95!!!

    It's high res to at 1366x768 with progressive scan.

    I'm thinking of going for that one if the 37PF9986 Philips one on order turns out to not allow a PC input at 1366 x 768. I've been told that the LG screen can be forced to display at native res even though the manual says it doesn't!

    i have the hitachi 37pd5200 and it is superb. had it about 2 months now and still love the quality of picture. also play a modded xbox with hi-def kit using the svideo and it looks stunning. Got mine from cramptons although currys have it for £2299 and if you find the 7.5% discount code on t'internet that brings it down some more ;)
