What about the new LG 37" LCD.

QED have it up for £2167.95!!!

It's high res to at 1366x768 with progressive scan.

I'm thinking of going for that one if the 37PF9986 Philips one on order turns out to not allow a PC input at 1366 x 768. I've been told that the LG screen can be forced to display at native res even though the manual says it doesn't!

i have the hitachi 37pd5200 and it is superb. had it about 2 months now and still love the quality of picture. also play a modded xbox with hi-def kit using the svideo and it looks stunning. Got mine from cramptons although currys have it for £2299 and if you find the 7.5% discount code on t'internet that brings it down some more ;)
