Google play music

Hi, I have been using Google play music on my Nexus 7 tablet, the playback seems fine until I stream to my HiFi using Bluetooth. The music slows down and speeds up, and occasionally breaks up.
The odd thing is is that the music tracks that are stored directly on my tablet work fine. And if I download any items from BBC iPlayer to my tablet I can stream the audio OK to my HiFi. It just seems to be the Google play music app. I got in touch with Google who say it could be my network which is at fault. Not sure about this as I can watch stuff on my ps3 such as iPlayer content, Netflix etc all OK.
Any ideas?
Thanks
