Shortcuts can be named anything, so their names don't mean anything. 'google' could be a shortcut to another copy of the chrome browser, an additional shortcut to the same copy of the chrome browser, a shortcut to the google webpage or something else. You'd have to right click on them, bring up their properties and see what they are.
If you do have multiple chrome installs then you can tell which is default by triggering something that opens the default browser (typically a webpage link in another program), opening task manager, looking at the properties of the running Chrome and comparing the file path with the shortcut on your desktop.
