Merry crimbo everyone, did Santa bring you all your AV dreams? :)

I am about to buy a Goodmans GTVL19W19DVD for my bedroom and was wondering if anyone knew of a hack for the integrated DVD player with it? I am off to Afghansitan very soon for a few months and would dearly love my wife to be able to watch multi region DVDs on it.......

    Can anyone help? :lease:

Also, is it any good as a TV?

Many thanks and hope you all have a very happy new year!

Just received one of these this morning from Argos :)

After opening it I wasn't sure it was the correct model since it differs from the picture on the Argos & Goodmans website. The model is GTVL19WDVD (missing the 19 after the W). Mine has a silver panel across the bottom for the speaker so I don't think it looks as good.

It does have all the same spec though, so for under £300 I think it's a bargain.

Overall, I'm very impressed, but have only had it about 1 hour.

Great bedroom tv :smashin: Can't wait to mount it on my wall bracket.

Sorry, can't help on the DVD hack though :(
