    Hi Board,
Bying my first plasma, I`ve been stressing over it for a week now, looking at different types etc.
After a few ales last night, I ordered A Goodmans from my catalogue for£1400, but I`m pretty sure I might get a better deal on the internet/shop for the same money.
I pesently have a SKY+ box and a combined DVD/VCR to connect to the plasma when I get it. I can`t get Freeview in my area yet, but the HDtv is probably what I am after.
If Anyone reading this post has a Plasma, leave some reply, however small, as it could help me out.. I want a 42" screen.
    Thank you, fellow Telly Worshippers...

I think you can do a lot better than the goodmans one for that price.

If what you say is true that you dont need freeview and that you have sky then maybe a panasonic panel is the way forward obviously you will need sound - have you got an surround sound system?
Both hornydragon and MAW can put you right on that one:smashin:

But there are others out there in that price range for sure

Richers ar now doing the pany pwd7 with componant board for £899.99, add £100 for the warranty (richers warranties are among the best around) and £120 for a scart to VGA converter and you have in my opion the best SD plasma around. Richers are also doing the same package in the PWD8 for £1299.99. Beats any of these so called Budget models like Goodmans, Techwood etc hands down.
