I've only had this model (Goodmans GDVD 301R) for three weeks and it was recording in stereo fine at first but now it's only recording the sound on one right hand channel.

Monitors OK in stereo from SCART NTL cable digi-box and VCR SCART but the resulting recordings are all on the right side...The visuals are excellent but not much use when the sounds so one-sided.

Using this same set-up I played all the relevant software through the hi-fi - CDs, Commercial DVDs & DVD copies and they all boom out in glorious stereo but not my new recordings.

All my phonos seem to be correctly in place.

Anyone any ideas? Grateful for any similar experiences or theories.
