Well done Palace, a well deserved win
Liverpool, not looking to make any big threats at the mo. And they have alot of work to do if they want to improve.
Well done Palace.
Another boring anti liverpool thread
Lets see...win 2 games in hand in the prem....3 points behind spurs...a-ok
I thought Palace fully deserved the win too...I'm not a Liverpool naysayer either, they just didn't look particularly good last night.
Speaking as a Liverpool fan it was a very disappointing performance, we are better than that & our record speaks for itself - "Form is temporary, Class is permanent"
Palace deserved their victory no doubt about it, they just seemed to want it more than we did & they took their chances & we didn't, had we have taken half the chances we created we would have won comfortably.
I am hoping that once Crouch scores it will open the floodgates, mind you I might be an old man by then!
Judging by Rafas reaction I think you will see a major improvement against West Ham at the weekend (I hope!)
C'mon oyu Seagulls
Roll up! Roll up! Place your bets! What will come first:
xmas - 6/1
Crouch scoring - 14/1
Very disappointed with last nights performance - and very frustrated too. I thought after losing to Fulham on the weekend that might have been the kick up the backside needed. Obviously not
I apologise for that. xmas should have shorter odds...
How was your holiday?
Not bad thanks Not much sun but no work and lots of beer! I managed
.........followed by yet another moan.
I wondered when you would turn up lol
i was willing to give crouch the benefit of the doubt but christ on the cross he is just not looking right for us never mind england.josemi is ****,traore not to far behind and garcia has to be one of the most frustrating players i have seen since er smicer lol.palace too there chance and good luck to them,we had a shed load of chances and did little.
You'd have fainted with shock if I hadn't!
No, it's a thread about boring Liverpool
Silver, it amazes me the amount of glory 'raffa' gets. He's bought an army of 'also rans', and relied on tactics that to most Liverpool fans are an anathema. Gerrard won that trophy not him. It's also Gerrard who keeps an average team going week in week out. Worse, players who were performing, seem to have lost their edge under him. Crouch? Don't get me started on that one..........
If Gerrard gets fed up this season I would watch out. Like us if Henry goes, things could get very tough indeed.
Maybe his decision to bring on Haman n play 3 at the back helped to win it too
Or maybe not. He's done similair things since and the result has not been as impressive. In fact, often tragic.............
but on that night it worked now go away and stop tainting our 5th win lol
Nope. Still giving it to Gerrard and Carra........... and neilo it doesn't really matter. You won didn't you?
to be honest if it was me instead of gerrard then the seeds of doubt would be creeping in by now.he and carra are the driving force in our team and i can honestly say hand on heart the rest are simply below par at this moment in time.im praying to the gods alonso turns it around and momo looks like he could be something special in the role didi plays in but that is all i have to look forward to on the brightside.
i wish kewell could return to his days at leeds, wether that will happen or not is a completely different story.reina looks no better than dudek or kirkland (who by all accounts is putting in some great perfomances) josemi, garcia and morientes just arent going to settle imho and out of the 3 i wish it would be nando who did as him on his monaco form and cisse could be deadly but back to reality for a minute and the reality is our team hasnt gelled.
we lambasted GH for buying dodgy french buys and rightly so,how the hell can a french international manager working with the future of french football not pick out a decent buy is an amazing feat.and apart from xabi rafa`s home buys have been poor at best.i`ll admit im giving sissoko the benefit of the doubt and early deserved praise because i like tough tackling but alonso doesnt seem to be the player he was last season.
Typical that Palace performed so well, live on Sky when I was away in Malta and missed it. Catching up on the reviews it would seem that Palace must have had some respect for Liverpool as it was almost their best team that they put out
