    Hello, hope you can help

I'm buying a gift for someone who will record VHS and analogue vid cam film to DVD, using a lap top. I want to purchase a USB video editing card. Video out is not a requirement.

Could you please recommend a good card (e.g. Dazzle, adstech, pinnacle, WinTV) for around 90 - 100 pounds? I've bought the Adaptec Media Centre ' VideOh', but don't want to open it until I know which is a good recommended one. Ideally the software would be reliable and have scene detection as well.

    Thank you very much

    B
