Good tip found

    Apologies if this is common knowledge.

    Found an article on the Epson S1 that suggested setting the DVD player to 16:9 output.

    This gives a stretched picture on the S1 which is then corrected by using the "Aspect" button on the remote.

    The improvement in definition was very noticeable.

    Some good settings for this projector are also provided.

    You will always get better resolution out of any DVD player set to 16:9 0r "wide" as you are using the full vertical resolution of the image.

    That's right Jeff. It mentions that in the article.

    I just posted it in case anyone else was new to projectors (like me) and found the article of some use.
