    Van Damme 2.5mm blue
    QED silver Anniversary XT
    Chord Carnicval Silverscreen

These are all more than adequate and I wouldn't look above these; the Chord being my first choice but the Van Damme is superb for its price

The marantz amp is good but still not as good as my old hitachi from the 80s which brought out so many more detail in the music. I wonder if the pm7004 would be better.

I own the Marantz PM6004 hooked up to Dali Zensor 1's with Mogami W2921 cable and I think it sounds fantastic. The Mogami's are a loan set and not paid for yet. Not especially cheap and I wouldn't have purposefully gone out to spend as much on cable but it does sound fantastic and night & day better than when I switched in my previous cables (QED Anniversay).

    Good luck.

I wonder if the 6004 brings more detail out of the music or is it just a new version on 6003

Does your speaker have one pair of terminals or two?

Two sets...4 terminals on each speaker....someone told me you just link the cable to one to two terminals as they have a copper band connecting between each terminal

On each speaker, the copper band (jumper) will connect both +ve's and both -ve's together. You then simply connect the speaker cable from your amp to either of the terminals, observing polarity throughout of course. +ve from amp to +ve on speaker (either terminal) and the same for the -ve's. Very important that +ve goes to +ve and -ve to -ve. Won't cause any damage, but won't sound right if you get it wrong.

Bass in particular will be non-existant if you hook it up wrong but you won't cause any actual damage.
