    Hi all, :hiya:

I want to connect my A/V via component and hdmi to my (future :D ) wall mounted tv. . . but there's a small problem:

I installed 2 tubes inside the wall connecting 2 plastic boxes but found out that they are a little small. 1 for Cat5e and speakers (3x1,5 for center and surround) and another (25mm wide ) for hdmi and component.

Can some1 tell me if there's a good component cable with small connectors and not very wide. I'm thinking of the ixos XHV 704 (photo) is it a good and strong cable :lease:

    Is the conduit 25mm square?

HDMI has to be supplied with the connectors attached - whilst a Mini 75 Ohm Multicore (for YUV Component) could be made up on site; assuming you have someone with some soldering skills (or the proper crimp tools).

Pulling a fully assembled 3RCA cable (no matter how thin) through a 25mm conduit along with an HDMI cable is going to be fun!!!

    Best regards

    Joe

    PS You don't mention Power!!!

Hi Joe thanks for the reply,

The conduit is 25mm in diameter and 1m long and I'll try this weekend to install the cables to see if it can be done.

I installed 2 outlets for power and antena (separatelly inside 2 tubes).

If i knew then what i know now i would install a plastic 80x40mm plastic rectangular conduit like those that run data cables :thumbsdow But i dont want to "destroy" that wall again
