I am looking for a projector around £700, iam on a tight budget because i will buy a 42 inch panasonic plasma at the same time,my toshiba 50 inch has become to small but i cant keep that and get a projector. I was impressed with urbant`s shots of his display but his model is a bit ouy of my budjet. So a good quality 80- 100 inch picture what about the Hitachi PJ-LC5 any one use that.
    Recomendations please

    http://www.projectorcentral.com/projection-calculator.cfm

shoots about 60" from 1.8meters as well.

price i cant give you a definate as it would be 2nd hand and depends on the owner. check the classified as ppl seem to be upgrading to the newer AE700.

Check out eBay as some traders advertise projectors on their pretty cheap. An Infocus X2 for £749
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=22610&item=5727969003&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
Which is a great projector, suitable for PC and movie use

    a Sanyo Z2 ( superb) for only £799:

Another Brand New Z2 for £785:

If they are out of your price range, then there are also plenty of secondhand projectors on there too for considerably less. Just be sure the seller has plenty of good feedback!!
