Hey all

I’m looking for some advice on which AVR would pair well with 2 KEF Q150 and a centre channel (via Sony OLED). I’ve been using the Marantz NR 1509 and haven’t been too happy with it. The app takes a long time to open, the room correction was always off (‘one speaker louder than another, sound incredibly loud in certain the on screen display took a long time to update. The audio quality was ‘ok’ but I’m sure that’s more to do with having q150s vs a bad AVR.

The Yamaha rxv4a looks promising but people are complaining about an eARC syncing issue. I keep looking at Arcam but realise it’s probably massively overkill for my needs.

I really enjoy listening to movies / shows on a mid-low volume and don’t appreciate loud bass (pretty sure I’m in the minority 😂).

I’m looking for a future proof AVR so supporting hdmi 2.1 would be a plus.

What recommendations would you suggest?
