If you are editing raw 4K footage then I think of go for 32gb RAM, and maybe a bigger primary SSD for your work files, the HDD can be used for archive out long term storage.
I'd probably also step the graphics card down to a 2080 Super to offset the cost.

You may also want to consider a Ryzen based system instead of Intel as that should give you more processor cores for your video work.

Thanks for your reply, have heard the Ryzen would be the best bet for video editing. Suppose it's best to pass then on this as it's second hand and would have to then sell on other parts for the upgrade.

Agree with @Eddy555
take a look at the Ryzen 3800x or the 3900x , can be had for a little cheaper , and x570 or high end b450 "MAX" mobos
32gb at 3600mhz
this will be a lot better at rendering projects !!

Thank you for your help, Would you recommend the 3700x at all? Or would you say it'd have to be the 3800x or 3900x? Thanks

That PC in the orignal post is dreadully specified.

Is your budget actually £1,350 or more? For video editing I would go for:

Ryzen 3700x;
GTX 2070 Super or AMD 5700XT
Possibly 4 x 8gb 3600Mhz RAM
Plenty of SSD space.

Yea by all means :smashin:
the only difference between the 3700x and 3800x is the boost clock ( 4.4 vs 4.5) out of the box.
and as with all ryzen CPU's their can be overclocked , ( depending on the silicone lottery )
you could overclock the 3700x which would match the 3800x - and this could save you a good few quid
In the real world , the 3700x would take a little bit longer in rendering something ( only by a few minutes ) compared to the 3800x ,
if it's a one off project every now and again , yea the 3700x will suit your needs ,
but if your going to be rendering every day or every other day , then the 3800x or the
3900x (12 core 24 thread ) will do it a lot quicker !! ( the 3900x been quicker than the 3800x )
