i may have found a solution for people who own a loewe television and a DVD player with progressive outputs.

you can use something called a transcoder which is produced by an american manufacturer called key digital ( http://www.keydigital.com/KD-CTCA2.asp ) available from a french dealer called booster coorperation ( https://boostercorp.com/trade/productview/302/ )

this product converts a YsUV progressive signal (480p) from a dvd player into an RGBHV signal to be inputted into a loewe via VGA, which most loewe's can be upgraded to have or if are lucky enough to have one already.

you connect YsUV (s is for sync), 3 phono to phono into the transcoder which then converts the signal to RGBHV which you output via the transcoders DB15 VGA socket to the loewe VGA inout, using a VGA to VGA cable.

this in other words will allow you to view progressive dvds (NTSC, 480p) on your loewe!

this product was recommended by sensory science in USA who were the distributors of loewe televisions until just a few months back.

if you want general info on loewe go to a site called http://www.loewe.blogspot.com/ very informative site

This is the same Transcoder that LiOn reviewed for use with his Panasonic AE100. You can also buy direct from Key Digital....
